I have always been attracted to electronics, since my first memories I always remember the first time my father explained me PNP and NPN transistors, at a very early age. With such interest for electronics, Intel and its microprocessors was an unavoidable reference in my world then and now.
This book has been in my list for some time, and finally I got the time to buy and read it, and I must say I wish I had bought it earlier.
High Output Management (HOM) describes Mr. Grove's view of a management position in a company, though the book was originally written in 1.983 it has not lost any link to modern times and modern companies.
I like how every aspect of management or day to day life in a manufacturing company is explained :
- The basics of production
- Management is a team game
- Team of teams
- the players
The concepts are clearly described together and its application is explained with very clear examples.
In my opinion is a reference book for anyone wanting to hold a position in any manufacturing company or even as a civil servant.
